When I started Boots to Health at 22 years old, I had a mission and a lot of heart. What I didn’t fully understand yet was that building something that lasts takes more than one person it takes a team.
On October 26, 2026, the BTH Board voted in Josh Hemus as our new Board President, and I couldn’t be more proud of this moment for our organization.
Josh serves in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where he oversees complex financial operations, and holds the rank of Captain in the 911th Airlift Wing Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. He brings a rare combination of financial expertise, military service, and genuine commitment to this mission and he’s exactly the kind of leader BTH needs at this stage of our growth.
As for me, I’m stepping out of the Board President seat to focus on some things behind the scenes and continue building the foundation that makes all of this possible.
“Every great leader needs a great team. This transition is the next step for BTH and honestly, it’s one I’m proud of. I’m grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way, and I’m excited to keep building what we started.”
